Join The Running Outreach Initiative on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, in Columbus, Franklin for the spooktacular Boo Bash Dash 5K! This exciting event is organized by OSU students dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting local youth. The race will start at the Recreational and Physical Activity Center on OSU's campus, taking participants through central campus and around the historic Oval before finishing back at the RPAC. Don't forget to wear your Halloween costume for a chance to win big prizes in the costume contest! Proceeds from the race will benefit schools where TROI members coach students in running, promoting the mental and physical benefits of the sport. Top finishers in each age division will receive gift cards to the Columbus Running Company, and all participants will enjoy pre- and post-race food and drinks. Boo! Get ready for _spooky_ season by signing up for The Running Outreach Initiative's inaugural Boo Bash Dash 5K! The Running Outreach Initiative is a non-profit organization led by OSU students that founded with the mission of giving back to our community and enriching the lives of local youth. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the schools where members of TROI coach students in the sport of running, sharing its mental and physical benefits. The Boo Bash Dash 5K starts at OSU's beautiful Recreational and Physical Activity Center and heads into central campus, circling around the historic Oval and finishing right back at the RPAC. Bring your costumes! Those who race in their Halloween attire have the option to be entered into a costume contest with the chance of winning some big prizes! . Each participant will receive one raffle ticket upon signing up, with extra tickets available for $1 each. Top finishers in each age division will receive a gift card to the Columbus Running Company! Pre- and post-race food and drinks will be provided.
