Join us for the Brayden's Benefit 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the beautiful Wellsboro, Tioga! This exciting event features a challenging 3.1-mile course that weaves through scenic grass, gravel, and dirt trails, with two fun creek crossings to keep things interesting—so be prepared to get your feet a little wet!
Not only will participants enjoy a fantastic day outdoors, but they'll also be supporting a great cause, as all proceeds will be donated to the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society in honor of Brayden Blackwell. Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three participants in each age category, ranging from 12 & Under to 80+. With refreshments available before the award ceremony at 11:00 am, this event promises to be a wonderful day of community spirit and friendly competition. Organiser's Description
A 3.1 mile course, that starts and ends at the Stony Fork Campground. Consists of grass, gravel, dirt trails and 2 creek crossings so expect to get your feet wet! Money raised will be donated to the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society in honor of Brayden Blackwell. Medals to be awarded to overall male and female finishers. Along with medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age category. Individual categories are 12 & Under, 13-17, 18-22, 23-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Refreshments available prior to award ceremony at 11:00 am.
