Join us for the exciting Breakthrough Trail 5K event organised by Pamplin Historical Park on Saturday 2nd November 2024 in Petersburg, Dinwiddie. The race will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Hart Farm, with race day registration and packet pick-up available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Participants will traverse historic Civil War battlefield trails, experiencing a mix of uneven gravel and dirt paths. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers overall and in various age categories. Please note that no strollers or children in carriers are permitted on the race course. RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP:
7:30 a. m. - 9:00 a. m.
COURSE
The race will take place on historic Civic War battlefield trails starting and ending at the Hart Farm. The course is a mixture of uneven gravel and dirt trails.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to top three male and female finishers overall and in each category:
Youth -- 12 and under; 13-17
Adults -- 18-29; 30-50; 51 and over
NO STROLLERS OR CHILDREN IN CARRIERS OF ANY TYPE PERMITTED ON THE RACE COURSE.
