Get ready for an exciting day of camaraderie and competition at the BRelay: Grab the Baton event, taking place on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, in beautiful Wyoming, Kent. This lively 10-mile relay race invites teams of 2 to 10 participants to join in the fun, making it the perfect opportunity to train for the upcoming LMCU Bridge Run. Teams can compete in various categories, including male, female, and coed, all while running on a scenic 1-mile paved loop at Pinery Park.
Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity, sporting costumes and unique team themes as they race with friends or tackle the challenge solo. Each team will receive a baton equipped with a timing chip, and with registration beginning at 7 AM, followed by a pre-race meeting at 7:50 AM, the excitement will build leading up to the race start at 8 AM. So, grab the baton, rally your friends, and prepare for a day filled with fun, teamwork, and the spirit of competition as you gear up for the Bridge Run!

Organiser's Description
With the LMCU Bridge Run [https://www.thebridgerun.com/] coming up in September, we wanted to provide the community with an opportunity to train for the 10 Miler, with friends! The Brian Diemer Family of Races introduces the BRelay, the Bridge Run Relay. This 10-mile relay is designed to have teams of 6-10, 3-5, and 2 persons, with a solo option. With team categories of male, female, and Coed. It all takes place on a 1 mile paved loop at Pinery Park.
Teams are encouraged to have FUN; wear costumes, have a team theme, use creative team names, etc. Teams will be issued a baton with a timing chip when they check into the race. In the spirit of keeping it easy, we only require each team member to run at least one loop; a Coed team is simply having mixed genders.
To keep registration fees low for everyone, there will be no shirt. Stay tuned for information on team awards.
Check-in and late registration starts a 7am, pre-race meeting at 7:50a, and BRelay at 8a, with the awards right after the last team finishes.
