Participants can choose between a 5k run or a 5k walk, with awards for top finishers in various age groups and categories, ensuring everyone has a chance to shine.
The festivities kick off at 8:00 AM with the 5k run, followed by the 5k walk at 8:05 AM, and a special kids fun run at 8:45 AM. With an early bird registration fee of just $25 until October 13th, don’t miss out on securing your event T-shirt! All proceeds from the race will support scholarships and resources for Hispanic students in the Jackson community, making this not just a run, but a meaningful contribution to local education. NUESTRA COMUNIDAD is excited to announce the first annual CORRE CON LOS MUERTOS - RUN WITH THE DEAD on Saturday, October 26th in Downtown Jackson. Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de Los Muertos with Nuestra Comunidad (Our Community). All race proceeds will go to supporting scholarships and resources for Hispanic students in the Jackson community.
PRICING: $25 until October 13th (T-shirt guaranteed), $30 from 10/14 to 10/25 (no shirt guaranteed), $40 on race day October 26th (no shirt)
FAMILY/GROUP PRICING: $5/discount per person when registering 3 or more people at the same time
T-SHIRTS: T-Shirts will be available to participants who sign up by Sunday, October 13th. Shirts not guaranteed after that date, supplies available as they last.
PACKET PICKUP: Morning of the race starting at 7:00 am
AWARDS: _ _Prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers in each age group for men and for women, for both the run and the walk. Prizes will be awarded to the overall Male and Female Winner in the Run and the Walk, the Master's Male and Female Winner in the run and walk. Awards after the event will be available for pick up after the race at the awards table.
