Following the success of the inaugural BTGWALK in 2023, where 193 participants came together, we expect to unite 500 passionate walkers this year to make a powerful statement for mental wellness in our community. The day will be filled with uplifting activities and festivities, all beginning at the iconic Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge. Bring your friends, family, and even your furry companions (on a leash) to be part of this meaningful movement. Together, we can bridge the gap to mental health access for all! IT'S NOT HOW FAR WE WALK AT BTGWALK, BUT HOW FAR WE'VE COME TO REMOVING THE BARRIERS TO ACCESSING MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT OPTIONS THAT COUNT. WITH YOUR SUPPORT AND HIGH SPIRITS, WE INTEND TO MAKE AN UNPRECEDENTED IMPACT ON MENTAL HEALTH IN OUR COMMUNITY.
BTGWALK 2023 REPRESENTED THE INITIAL STEP TOWARD POWERFUL CHANGE LEAVING A SIGNIFICANT MARK ON THE LOCAL MENTAL HEALTH LANDSCAPE. THERE WERE 193 PARTICIPANTS IN 2023 AND WITH YOUR SUPPORT, 500 WALKERS WILL UNITE TO 'BRIDGE THE GAP' OF ACCESS TO CARE.
