Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and fitness at the Broadview Heights Mayor Alai's event on Thursday, July 9, 2026! Taking place in the heart of Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga, this family-friendly celebration coincides with the Broadview Heights Home Days on the Green. The race kicks off at 6:00 PM at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center, located at 9543 Broadview Road. Participants can choose between a 5K run (3.1 miles) or a 1-Mile Walk/Run, with the 5K being chip-timed for those looking to track their performance.
Registration is a breeze, with early bird fees set at just $25 until July 8, and a family rate of $23 per person for groups of three or more residing at the same address. Don’t miss out on the chance to grab a race shirt and enjoy complimentary refreshments—including fruit, water, and a free alcoholic beverage (for participants 21 and over) courtesy of Broadview Brewing Company—awaiting you at the finish line. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three racers in each age group.

This is a special event for the whole family in conjunction with the Broadview Heights Home Days on the Green.
