Get ready for the 4th Annual Broome County Parks 5K Series, taking place in the beautiful Binghamton, Broome County! Join us every Thursday from July 10 to August 21, 2025, for a fun-filled series of races designed for participants of all abilities. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family, this event is perfect for you! With race distances of 5K, each race will showcase a unique park, including Greenwood Park, Dorchester Park, Nathaniel Cole Park, and Otsiningo Park.
All races kick off at 6:30 PM, providing a great evening atmosphere to enjoy the scenic beauty of the parks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit CHOW-Broome County Council of Churches, making your participation even more meaningful. When you register for all four races, you’ll receive a special t-shirt and an award! Individual race registration is also available on-site for just $20. So lace up those running shoes, gather your loved ones, and join us for an unforgettable summer of running and community spirit in Broome County!

The 5K Series is a great way to get out and explore the Broome County Parks!
Join us for the 4th Annual Broome County Parks 5K Series on Thursdays, starting July 10 through August 21, 2024. Participants of all abilities are welcome and encouraged! Bring your family, friends, or just yourself, and let's get outside!
Portion of the proceeds benefit CHOW-Broome County Council of Church.
T-shirt and award are included when you register for all four races. Registration for individual races is also available onsite at each race at the registration table for $20, as well as the t-shirts to purchase for $10. There will be no refunds available for this series.
Registrations will be accepted the day of each race. CASH ONLY!
ALL RACES START AT 6:30 P.M.
PACKET PICK UP
Packets are available for pickup at each race location the day of race. Packet pick up will begin at 5:30pm and end at 6:30pm. If you are participating in all four races then you can pickup your packet at the first race or any race day after that.
SERIES SCHEDULE

* July 24: Dorchester Park
* August 7: Nathaniel Cole Park
* August 21: Otsiningo Park
Otsiningo Park and Dorchester Park course is paved; Greenwood Park and Nathaniel Cole Park course is on dirt trails. These are not certified courses except Otsiningo Park. There is no mile markers only marked course, there is no chips for timing. Timing results will be displayed at www.gobroomecounty.com/parks/5K [http://www.gobroomecounty.com/parks/5K]
For those who registered for all four races an email with information regarding the race series and course maps will be sent out on July 8th. For those registered for individual races an email will be sent on Monday the week of their registered race.
