This exciting event will once again take place at Spokane Community College, featuring a thrilling out-and-back course that promises a spirited atmosphere for runners of all ages. Not only is this race a fantastic way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but it also serves as an official qualifying race for 2nd seeding at Bloomsday 2026, with qualifying times set at 37:00 for women and 31:00 for men.
At 9:00 AM, the main race kicks off, followed by the delightful "Lucky Leprechaun Jig" for kids aged 6 and under at 10:30 AM, where every little participant will receive a ribbon. Be sure to stick around for the awards ceremony at 11:00 AM, where top runners will be recognized across various categories, including overall winners and age group champions. Come and race, ye lads and lasses! The 2026 BRRC 43rd St. Paddy's 5 Miler will be a jig of a time. By popular demand, the St. Paddy's 5 Miler is back again at Spokane Community College on MARCH 8, 2026. The same out & back route as last year 2025. This is an official qualifying race for 2nd SEEDING at BLOOMSDAY 2026. Qualifying times: Women 37:00 and Men 31:00. AT 10:30 AM THERE WILL BE A FREE "LUCKY LEPRECHAUN JIG" FOR KIDS 6 YEARS OLD AND UNDER. ALL RUNNERS IN THE LEPRECHAUN JIG WILL RECEIVE A RIBBON. At 11:00 am there will be an Awards ceremony; Overall Male & Female, Masters (40+) Top Male & Female. Top 3 Male & Female in age groups 0-10,11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. At 11:15 am there will be prize drawings including a $250 cash prize plus other prizes. MUST be present to WIN!
