Get ready for a festive celebration of fitness at the 43rd St. Paddy's Five Miler on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in beautiful Spokane! This popular event, held at Spokane Community College, invites runners of all ages to take part in an exciting 5-mile race on the same scenic out-and-back route as last year. Not only is this race a great way to enjoy the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, but it also serves as an official qualifying race for 2nd seeding at Bloomsday 2026, with qualifying times set at 37:00 for women and 31:00 for men.
The festivities kick off bright and early, with registration opening at 8:00 AM, followed by a thrilling gun start at 9:00 AM. For the little ones, the "Lucky Leprechaun Jig" will take place at 10:30 AM, giving kids 6 years and under a chance to join in on the fun and earn a ribbon for their participation. Organiser's Description
Come and race, ye lads and lasses! The 2026 BRRC 43rd St. Paddy's Five Miler will be a jig of a time. By popular demand, the St. Paddy's 5 Miler is back again at Spokane Community College. The same out & back route as last year 2025. This is an official qualifying race for 2nd SEEDING at BLOOMSDAY 2026. Qualifying times: Women 37:00 and Men 31:00. AT 10:30 AM THERE WILL BE A "LUCKY LEPRECHAUN JIG" FOR KIDS 6 YEARS OLD AND UNDER. ALL RUNNERS IN THE LEPRECHAUN JIG WILL RECEIVE A RIBBON. At 11:00 am there will be an Awards ceremony: Overall Male & Female, Masters (40+) Top Male & Female. Top 3 Male & Female in age groups 0-10,11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. At 11:15 am there will be prize drawings including a $250 cash prize and other prizes. MUST be present to WIN.
