A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Bushwick 5K Scholarship, which benefits graduating high school students from the area. So far, this initiative has awarded $2,400 to eight deserving students, and with your participation, we can continue to make a positive impact in the Bushwick community. Join us for the fourth annual BUSHWICK 5K FUNd RUN. Whether youre a competitive or recreational runner, seasoned or novice walker, just looking to meet up, have fun and do good, then this run is for you! Please note that this race will be manually timed through the Webscorer App.
Metro World Child in conjunction with Evergreen Baptist Church are the hosts of the Bushwick 5K. We are proud of the fact that a portion of the proceeds from all races are earmarked for the Bushwick 5K Scholarship. This scholarship benefits graduating high school students living in Bushwick or attending high school in Bushwick. So far we have awarded a total of $2,400 to 8 students. Your participation in the Bushwick 5K will enable us to continue awarding well deserved students.
