Get ready for an extraordinary experience at the CAK5K on the Runway, taking place on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, in Green, Summit! Celebrating its 9th year, this unique event invites runners to hit the runway at the Ohio Air Guard Facility, culminating in a fantastic finish at the MAPS Air Museum. Participants can choose to run a thrilling 5K course, which includes the exciting Afterburner Zone – a special 100-meter race within the main event.
This year promises even more excitement with one of the best finisher medals around, along with fantastic swag, food, and beverages at the post-race party. Runners will have the chance to win free running shoes through raffles as registration milestones are reached, and every 200th finisher will also take home a pair! Awards will be presented for top finishers across various categories, so lace up your running shoes and join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community celebration – all while honoring Akron’s bicentennial!
