The first 100 registrants will be rewarded with a free Bread of the Mighty 5K t-shirt, and awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Mark your calendars! On Saturday February 28th, 2026, we will be hosting our 1st Annual UF Bread of the Mighty 5K at Flavet Field. Our theme this year is "Cans" so show up and show out! Runner check-in will start at 8:00 AM and our race will officially begin at 9:00 AM. There will be food and beverages served for everyone beforehand and afterwards. First 100 registered will receive a free Bread of the Mighty 5K t-shirt! Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall female and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall male.
Bread of the Mighty Food Bank is dedicated to fighting hunger and feeding hope across North Central Florida. Through partnerships with schools, churches, and community organizations, we help provide nutritious food to families, seniors, and individuals in need. All proceeds from this 5K will go directly toward supporting our hunger relief programs and ensuring no neighbor goes without a meal.
