Join us for an evening of movement, memories, and community in celebration of Brent Adler. Whether you're here to sprint, stroll, or just stand and collect a medal (yep, really), this event is for you.

Cant Stop, Wont Stop was Brents motto, and it lives on in the hearts (and turtle-themed T-shirts) of all who knew him.

THERE ARE THREE "CAN'T STOP - WON'T STOP" EVENT DISTANCES TO CHOOSE FROM:


5K - RUN TWO CROSS-COUNTRY LOOPS ON GRASS. GREAT FOR THOSE WHO WANT A CHALLENGE.

2K - JOG/WALK ONE EASY-GOING LOOP. WALK, JOG, PUSH A STROLLER, BRING GRANDMA.

0K - "INSTANT GRATIFICATION" RACE. NO RUNNING. NO WALKING. JUST GLORY.

_The 0K Instant Gratification Run is for those who prefer their races short and sweet. Youll line up at the start line, the airhorn will blow, and youll immediately receive your finishers medal because, hey, you showed up and thats worth celebrating. No running shoes required... And Yes, You get the Official Turtle Event Tee Shirt._

WHO CAN COME? Everyone. Seriously friends, families, neighbors, kids, teens, seniors. Whether youre here to run or just cheer others on, your presence helps us celebrate life and keep Brents legacy strong.

STAY FOR THE FUN. After your preferred race, stick around for our "Tailgate City" on the stadium field. Bring your own food, drinks, chairs, coolers, games whatever you need to make it a good time. (Pro tip: pop-up tents are NOT allowed as we are on the Football Field)

At 7:00PM, well Light Up the Sky for a Celebration of Life.

TIMING FOR THE EVENT

Timing for this event will be a gun start timing clock and there will be a clock at the finish line so you can record your own time as you cross the finish line for personal glory. We will not be chip timing or posting official times for the events so you can make up your own time and story. :)

_THE STORY OF THE BRENT ADLER SCHOLARSHIP - CANT STOP, WONT STOP_

Cant Stop, Wont Stop was the text Brent sent his wife before heading out for one of his final training runs on a Tuesday evening. He was preparing for a half marathon that he and his son had been training for over the course of several months. Brent was no stranger to endurance raceshe had completed the Marine Corps Marathon and many half marathons in the past. But this one was special. He was eager to share the experience of his sons first half marathon.

Tragically, Brent never made it back home that evening. Instead, God called him to his heavenly home.

Brent lived his life with a determined spiritnever giving up, always pushing forward, and living each day with purpose and love. The phrase Cant Stop, Wont Stop has come to represent his unstoppable energy and fierce dedication to what mattered most. It continues to inspire his family and friends to keep grinding and to show up fully for the people and values they love.

This motto is now at the heart of the Brent Adler Fund, which provides scholarships to students attending Lake Country Lutheran High School. Brent was a strong advocate for Christian education. His mother, brother, wife, daughter, and many extended family members have all served as Lutheran school educators across the country. Brent was deeply passionate about ensuring his own children knew Jesus as their Savior. He was proud to send them all to LCL.

He would be honored to know that this scholarship fund is opening doors for others to experience the blessing of a Christ-centered education at Lake Country Lutheranwhere students hear about Jesus daily and grow in faith, knowledge, and character.
