Join us on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, in McAlester, Pittsburg for the 3rd Annual CASA Superhero 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run organized by San Bois CASA. This event aims to raise awareness about child abuse prevention and support the important work of this non-profit organization. The 5K race will take place near 2nd & Choctaw, following an out/loop/back course around Chadick Park, while the 1 Mile Fun Run will kick off the day at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superheroes and enjoy a day of fun-filled activities. Finisher medals, participant shirts, and custom awards for top finishers in each age group will be provided. Organiser's Description
3rd Annual CASA Superhero Run to support the work of San Bois CASA (a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization) and raise awareness about child abuse prevention. 5K race begins and ends near 2nd & Choctaw in McAlester, OK. The course is an out/loop/back that goes around Chadick Park. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 9 a.m. and the 5K run will begin at 9:30 a.m. All participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero or invent a new one! Participant shirts and finisher medals will be provided on race day. Custom awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age group. Come join the fun and support a local non-profit that is making a difference in the lives of children!

Kids must be at least 6 years and older to participate in the 5K run. This is a chip-timed run and participants will line up according to finish times. Fastest runners will be at the front with walkers at the back. Finishers will receive a CASA Superhero medal, and snacks will be provided after the run. Register by October 12th for a t-shirt! -
