Whether you're running, walking, or dancing your way through the course, you’ll enjoy a safe and family-friendly atmosphere as you navigate three illuminating loops. The first 50 registrants will receive a free t-shirt, and everyone who crosses the finish line will earn a medal! Plus, there are prizes for the top three finishers in the 5K, making this an unforgettable experience for both seasoned runners and those new to the race. Don’t miss out on the fun glowing displays and the chance to celebrate at NSU's First-Gen Day celebration with free s’mores by the fire after the race. Join us for the first-ever sparkles FGSO Glow 5Ksparkles a fun, safe, family-friendly event open to all ages and fitness levels! Whether you're running, walking, or dancing your way through the course, everyones invited to GLOW!
WHEN: November 6, 2025
COST: $30 for 5k / $25 for 1 mile walk
RACE TIME: 5:30 pm
LOCATION: The FIT at Northeastern State University (530 N Oak Ave)
THE FIRST 50 PEOPLE TO REGISTER WILL RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT!
Runners will illuminate the course with glowsticks, neon colors, and high energy. The race will begin and end in front of The FIT and will consist of three full loops of our lit up course.
RUN, GLOW, REPEAT!
Runners will enjoy seeing fun glowing displays, representing other student organizations around campus, and have the opportunity to vote for their favorite one!
Whether you are a running enthusiast or this is your first 5k, FGSO Glow is sure to be an unforgettable experience!
Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a medal and there will be a special prize to acknowledge overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place 5k finishers.
_Although there will not be a professional timing company present, we will have someone at the finish line recording everyone's time. _
