Join us for the 2025 Catawba County Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, in beautiful Newton, Catawba! This inspiring community event aims to combat hunger and raise vital funds for local organizations, including Ashure Ministry, Hickory Soup Kitchen, and The Corner Table. With a goal of $60,000, every dollar raised will directly support those experiencing food insecurity in our area.
Participants can choose between two race distances: a scenic 5K and a shorter 1 Mile option. The day kicks off at 2:00 PM with registration, followed by a warm-up and awards ceremony at 2:45 PM, celebrating the Largest Team, Top Team Fundraiser, and Top Individual Fundraiser. After the walk, enjoy refreshments and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve contributed to a meaningful cause. Together, let’s take strides toward ending hunger in Catawba County!

We invite you to join us in this vital community event dedicated to fighting hunger right here in Catawba County. Proceeds from this years walk will benefit all three organizations, supporting our shared mission to provide food and hope to our neighbors in need.
The Hunger Walk not only raises essential funds for hunger relief efforts across Catawba Countyit also brings awareness to the ongoing issue of food insecurity in our community.
We humbly ask for your support. Every dollar raised will be divided equally among Ashure Ministry, Hickory Soup Kitchen, and The Corner Tableand every dollar will go directly toward feeding those who need it most.
Thank you for standing with us in this ministry of compassion and care. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward ending hunger in Catawba County.
