Starting at 4:00 PM, the chip-timed course offers a family-friendly atmosphere that guarantees a memorable day for everyone.
Check-in begins at 2:30 PM at Cong. Bnai Israel, where you'll receive your bib and swag bag. The fun kicks off with a bounce house for kids at 3:00 PM, followed by the welcoming ceremony at 4:00 PM. The race kicks off shortly after, culminating in a festive latke party that includes an all-you-can-eat potato pancake supper! Plus, don’t miss the fun run for youngsters under age ten at 4:45 PM. With free off-street parking, a custom-designed race medal, and a vibrant community spirit, the Chase the Dreidel 5K is a can't-miss event this December! Our life-sized dreidel spins down the streets of St. Pete and the Pinellas Trail on a chip-timed, police-monitored course. Walkers, strollers, runners all are welcome!
Chase the Dreidel 5K is the only race of its kind: a family-friendly start time of 4pm, t-shirt, fun run for youngsters, free off-street parking, swag bag, custom-designed race medal and best of all registration includes our famous all-you-can-eat potato pancake latke supper!

2:30 pm Check-in and bib/swag bag pickup opens at Cong. Bnai Israel, 300 58th St. North in St Pete. (There is no early packet pickup or check-in.)
Follow the signs to free parking around the back of the building
3:00pm - Bounce house opens!
$55 on-site registration is available until the race starts so spread the word last-minute runners welcome!
4:00pm Welcoming ceremony begins outdoors in front of Cong. Bnai Israel.
4:10pm - Race begins! Starting line is at the intersection of 4th Ave North and 59th St North. The race finishes in front of the synagogue.
The race will run rain-or-shine. It will be delayed in case of lightening.
Food-only wrist bands are available on site for $5 no reservations required.
4:45pm - Fun Run for youngsters under age ten.
4:45pm - Latke party begins inside the synagogue social hall with awards presentation.
No bicycles or pets, please!
