Join us for the 13th annual Beat the Heat event, where one of Colorado's favorite trails meets one of its most glorious parks, all in support of Adaptive Adventures! Follow the winding courses southwest along Big Dry Creek Trail, and enjoy the breathtaking sight of Standley Lake against the backdrop of the majestic Flatirons. Its Endless Series [https://www.alloutmultipro.com/endless-series] sidekick in September is Fallfest [https://www.alloutmultipro.com/fallfest]. Get ready to journey back to the 80s at Beat the Heat, complete with leg warmers, scrunchies, neon colors, and the beats of Run-D.M.C. And don't forget to dress up for our 80s costume contest - it's going to be rad!

Half marathon athletes will start out heading west on Big Dry Creek Trail toward Standley Lake Regional Park. At about 2.5 miles athletes will begin 4 miles of the gravel trail & road system within the park, including the views along a north/south dogleg near the dam, then exit the park to continue west toward the south trailhead and the turnaround with spectacular views of Standley Lake and the Flatirons. As they return the way they came, athletes will skip the dogleg, return to Big Dry Creek Trail and head straight for the finish. 8 opportunities to fuel up (+4 toilets). -
