This uplifting event honors the memory of Chase Yarns, a devoted runner, coach, and beloved community member whose spirit continues to inspire others. Lace up your running shoes or walking sneakers and participate in this memorable 5K run or leisurely 2-mile walk to support the Chase Yarns Memorial Scholarship Fund, which benefits student-athletes who share Chase’s passion for running and kindness.
The race kicks off at 9:00 AM at Abington Heights Middle School, with same-day registration available from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packets starting at 8:00 AM. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female runners, as well as to age group winners in various categories, ensuring that everyone has a chance to shine! Come be part of this special day that celebrates Chase's legacy while promoting health, community, and support for future generations. Let's run, walk, and inspire together!

Run (or Walk) for Chase 5K to Benefit the Chase Yarns Memorial Scholarship.
In June 2024, we experienced the unimaginable loss of our son and brother, Chase Yarns, at just 26 years old. Chase brought endless love, laughter, and kindness to everyone he met. His spirit lives on through the Chase Yarns Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Please join us for a 5K run or 2M walk to help support this fund and honor Chases memory.
Chase was a dedicated runnerpart of the Abington Heights Cross Country and Track teams, a marathoner, a coach at kids running camps, and a supporter of others every step of the way.
Whether you run, jog, or walk, your participation helps continue Chases legacy and support student-athletes who share his passion and heart.
Thank you for helping us carry Chases spirit forward.
THERE WILL BE SAME-DAY REGISTRATION FROM 8:00AM - 8:45AM.
PACKET PICK-UP WILL BEGIN AT 8:00AM FOR PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS/WALKERS.
