Get ready for an inspiring day of community spirit at the Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2026, taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Central High School Football Stadium in Evansville, Vanderburgh. This vibrant event celebrates strength, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of cancer warriors. Participants can join in on the excitement with a 5K Run/Walk, where everyone is welcome, including walkers (please note, no pets allowed). In addition to the main race, the event features a Hope Walk, a fun 1-mile walk for all ages, a Survivors Parade honoring courageous individuals, and a Cruise-In Car Show.
Families will enjoy a variety of activities, including face painting and inflatables, while food trucks and community partners provide delicious options to fuel the day. Registration includes a short-sleeve cotton t-shirt for participants in the 5K, 1-mile, and Survivor Parade, and children aged 3 and under can participate for free.
