With affordable entry fees of just $15 for adults and $10 for youth and elders, everyone can participate and contribute to a great cause, as all proceeds benefit EBCI Senior Citizens. THE 2025 CHEROKEE CHOICES MOTHER'S DAY 5K RUN/WALK IS OFFERING TWO OPTIONS TO CELEBRATE ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL MOMS.
5K Run/Walk: Saturday - May 10:
Hosted by Cherokee Choices [https://www.facebook.com/CherokeeChoices], the course has a bit of everything - road, farm road, and trails - offering a complete review of the historic site. The course is perfect for seasoned runners, first timers, and walkers.
DIY ANYWHERE 5K: Saturday - May 3 > Sunday - May 11
This Do It Yourself event will allow participants to run or walk at _ANY TIME_ and _ANY LOCATION_ that is convenient for you. Run around the block, on trails, go down to the track (12.5 laps = 5K), or even run on a treadmill. You don't even have to live in WNC - so please invite friends and family both near and far to join the fun. While not required you can submit your time for inclusion in the online just for fun results. We will collect times beginning on Saturday May 3 through Monday May 12. Instructions on "How to submit your DIY Results" are found at the "DIY INFO" tab above.
