This vibrant event in Chicago, Cook County, welcomes everyone to run, walk, or cycle while supporting an important cause. Registration is just $25 per person, which includes a shiny medal, a race bib, and a goodie bag filled with treats.
The day kicks off with check-in starting at 9:00 a.m., and attendees can look forward to snacks and refreshments to keep energy levels high. Not a runner? No problem! Cheer on your friends or join in on a lively Zumba session right on campus. Plus, for those who can’t attend in person, there’s a virtual participation option available. All proceeds will support the athletic department at Chicago Vocational High School, making each registration and donation a meaningful contribution to the future of the students and staff. Were thrilled to invite you to join us for the CVS Alumni Association, Inc. 2026 5K Torch Trail on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! Whether you like to Run, Walk or Cycle, just come out and have a good time! CHECK IN STARTS AT 9:00 A.M.
REGISTRATION FOR THE RACE IS $25.00 PER PERSON.
Your registration fee includes a shiny medal to celebrate your achievement, a bib, and a goodie bag. Snacks and refreshments will be available to keep everyone energized.
The scenic 5K figure-eight loop will take you around the Chicago Vocational H.S. campus at 2100 E. 87th St., Chicago, IL, and Jesse Owens Park at 8800 S. Clyde Ave., Chicago, IL, in the beautiful nearby park area. We recommend bringing a folding chair so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
But if you cant be there in person, feel free to join us virtually. Be sure to include your mailing address to receive your, medal, race bib, and goodie bag by mail.
