This year, the Firecracker 5K is proud to be an official event of Charleston's much-anticipated Sternwheel Regatta, adding an extra layer of excitement to your race day experience! Registration before June 26, 2026, offers fantastic pricing: just $40 for adults, $20 for youth ages 11-18, and free for kids 10 and under. After June 26, the prices increase slightly, so be sure to register early! All proceeds from this joyful event will go directly to benefit children at the Laurance Jones, III Childhood Language Center, a vital free speech therapy clinic in West Virginia. RACE PACKET PICK-UP INFORMATION:
Thursday, July 2nd from 10am-3pm at the Childhood Language Center (1313 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV)
_**If you are unable to pick-up your bib and shirt on Thursday, you will be able to pick up prior to the race on Saturday. We will open up registration at 7am on July 4th._
All proceeds benefit the Childhood Language Center to provide free speech and language therapy services to children across West Virginia.
