Participants can choose from a challenging 62-mile Habanero Ride, a scenic 40-mile Chile Rojo Ride, or a leisurely 25-mile Chile Verde Ride, with start times ranging from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a 5K walk/run starting at 9:00 am, encouraging families to embrace a healthy lifestyle together while waiting for their cycling enthusiasts to finish. With fully supported rides featuring rest stops every 15 miles, cyclists can focus on the joy of the ride. Whether you're challenging yourself or enjoying a family outing, the Chile Pepper Challenge promises a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit! GENERAL RIDE INFORMATION:
The El Paso Bicycle Club (EPBC) is collaborating with University Medical Center Foundation of El Paso to bring the Chile Pepper Challenge Charity Ride to the Texas - New Mexico region. This years ride will feature the Upper and Mesilla valleys with 4 different ride routes for cyclists of all skill levels and ambition. All rides are fully supported with rest stops, route markings and SAG vehicles.

This year we are adding a 5k walk/run to promote healthy living for our families within our community. Families are encouraged to participate in the 5k while they wait for their cycling enthusiast to cross the finish line.
