Let’s come together to honor the nursing profession and make this year’s event one of the best yet!

THE PROFESSION OF NURSING IS OFTEN ONE THAT IS SELF-LESS, HOWEVER, RESEARCH TELLS US THAT WHEN WE TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES, WE ARE BETTER ABLE TO CARE FOR OTHERS. THE IDEA FOR THE 5K CAME ABOUT FROM THE DESIRE TO PROMOTE WELLNESS, COMRADERY AND JOY AMONGST THE CAREGIVERS OF CHRISTIANACARE. IN THE SPIRIT OF RELATIONSHIP BASED CARE, TO MAKE A COMMITMENT TO OUR PATIENTS, OUR COLLEAGUES AND OURSELVES. OUR HOPE IS TO INSPIRE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, WORK LIFE BALANCE AND TEAMWORK AT A FUN AND EXCITING EVENT FOR CHRISTIANACARE CAREGIVERS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.
