Join Torrington Recreation for a merry morning of fitness, fun, and festive cheer at the Christmas Village 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just looking to take a spirited stroll, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the season and support a great cause. We highly encourage everyone dress up, whether that be with a Santa hat, costume, or any other festive gear you have! This course features a generally flat terrain, making it accessible and enjoyable for participants of all levels.

5K RACE
Dash through our course decorated with festive cheer, music, and enthusiastic volunteers. The 5K is chip-timed for those aiming to set a personal record or simply enjoy a fun, holiday-inspired run.

1-MILE FUN RUN/WALK
Perfect for kids, families, and walkers! The 1-mile course offers holiday fun at every turn, great photo opportunities, and maybe even a surprise visit from Santa. The start time for the 1-mile run/walk will begin 15 minutes AFTER the 5k race.

Dressing up for the holiday is highly encouraged, and there will be prizes for the most festive outfits.
