Join us for the vibrant Circles on a Mission Bicycle Ride on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, in beautiful DeRidder, Beauregard Parish! This exciting event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the scenic roads while supporting a noble cause—the Methodist Children’s Home of SWLA, which provides essential therapeutic services for children in need. Riders will embark on their journey at 8:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church DeRidder, with various race distances available to suit all skill levels. Our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to ensure a fantastic experience, complete with support vehicles, delicious snacks along the route, and a hearty meal waiting at the finish line.
For those looking for a more leisurely experience, we also offer a delightful 1-mile guided walking tour of Historic Downtown DeRidder. Explore the rich history of the area, including fascinating sites like the Hanging Jail and the first USO in the USA, all while being entertained by our knowledgeable tour guide. Whether you choose to ride or walk, come out and make a difference while enjoying a day filled with fun, community spirit, and fundraising for a worthy cause!

Circles on a Mission Bicycle Ride is an opportunity to share the roads of Beauregard Parish while raising funds for the Methodist Childrens Home of SWLA. The residential home provides comprehensive therapeutic services for children with significant emotional and behavioral needs. For more information on the children's home visit http://www.lmch.org/.
Our volunteers will ensure that your experience is fantastic. There will be support vehicles and plenty of snacks along every route. When you cross the finish line, a hearty meal will be provided.
The start time is 8:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church DeRidder on Saturday, May 17th. Please make sure you have a properly fitting helmet. If you have additional questions, please call the First United Methodist DeRidder office at 337-463-4491 or visit the church website https://fumcderidder.org.

50 mile: Depart FUMC on Bon Ami, go south to the intersection of Hwy 27, turn right, continue to the intersection of HWY 110,turn right and continue to the intersection of HWY 190; turn right (eastbound), turn left on Cole Rd, right on April Rd. ,right on Sandloop Road, left on HWY 190. Go right on Bobby Nichols, cross over Blankenship Dr., straight on Airport Road, left on D Street, left on Cecil Doyle Dr. , right on Blankenship Dr., right on Davella, left on W. 8th, left on Bon Ami, then return to the church campus. -
