Join us for the 18th annual Claremont Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the charming city of Claremont, Los Angeles! Runners and walkers can choose from two exciting distances: the 1K Kid's Fun Run at 7:30 AM and the 5K Run/Walk kicking off at 8:00 AM.
Experience the scenic course that meanders through the picturesque tree-lined streets of the Claremont Colleges and the historic neighborhoods nearby. As you approach the finish, enjoy a slight downhill grade that gives you a thrilling boost to the end! Every participant in the Kid's Fun Run receives a finisher's medal and race shirt, while 5K competitors will also be awarded a stylish race shirt. Trophies will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, along with gold, silver, and bronze medals for the top finishers in each age division. Welcome to the 18th annual Claremont Turkey Trot presented by Claremont Sunrise Rotary. With a new start/finish location at Claremont's Memorial Park, the scenic course winds its way through the tree-lined streets of the Claremont Colleges and the adjacent historic neighborhoods. A slight downhill grade on the last leg provides a welcome boost into the finish.
Approximate Start Times:
7:30AM 1K Kid's Fun Run
8:00AM 5K Run/Walk
Late registration and packet pickup will take place on Wednesday, November 26 from 4PM to 7PM at the Claremont Depot. Located at 200 W First Street, Claremont, CA 91711. Race day packet pickup begins at 6AM.
Everyone in the 1K Kids Fun Run receives a finishers medal and a race shirt. All participants in the 5K Run/Walk get a race shirt. Trophies are awarded to the top male and top female overall finishers. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each age division. Age divisions are <10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc. Race shirt availability is not guaranteed for late registrations, so please register early!

With a start/finish at Claremont's Memorial Park, the fun run course loops through the neighborhood. It starts on Yale Ave. heading south, then east on 8th Street, north on Harvard Ave., and west on 12th Street before heading to the finish line back on Yale Ave. All participants in the 1K Kid's Fun Run receive a finishers medal and a race shirt. -
