Join us for the CNB Bank and Trust Independence Day 5K on Friday, July 4, 2025, in beautiful Jacksonville, Morgan. This exciting event will take place at Nichols Park, where participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere while getting active. The day kicks off bright and early at 6:30 AM with registration, followed by the 5K run and walk at 7:30 AM. For our younger runners, we have a delightful Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run for children aged 12 and under, starting at 8:15 AM.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or a family looking to enjoy a healthy morning together, this event is perfect for everyone. Participants in the 5K will have the chance to compete for awards in various age categories, while every child in the fun run will receive a special award. Thursday, July 3 at CNB Bank & Trust in Jacksonville (1211 W. Morton) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
6:30 a.m. on race day at Nichols Park
AWARDS
Awards (5k only) will be given to the top 2 male and female finishers overall and masters as well as the following age categories 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. All finishers in the fun run will receive an award.
T-SHIRT - please register by June 27 in order to guarantee yourself a shirt and your desired size.
TIMING AND RESULTS - provided by Final Lap Racing.
DELAY/CANCELLATION POLICY
We hope that mother nature smiles on our participants the day of our race. However, this race will be held regardless of inclement weather. If safety becomes a concern, the race directors have the right to delay or cancel the race. The costs associated with planning this event are non-refundable. Therefore, participant registration fees must, unfortunately, also be non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, we hope that you consider your registration fee to be a charitable contribution to Prairieland United Way. You will still receive your T-shirt and we will still draw attendance prizes. We apologize for any inconvenience this policy may cause.
