The University City Memorial Day Run takes place each Memorial Day in University City, Missouri. Begun in 1974 by a few interested joggers, over the next Fifty-One years it has grown into one of the most popular and largest family races in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
The University City Memorial Day Run provides runners of any level with an exciting and fun experience. The 10K and 5K runs are the main event but there is also a fun run for the whole family.

At 52-years-old, the Memorial Day Run is just a youngster compared to University Citys historic WPA-era swimming pool! Opened in 1933, Heman Park Pool celebrates its 93rd anniversary on May 30th and is now completely renovated after the devastating flood of July 2022. It is one of the areas largest public pools and was named Best Pool in 2023 by the Riverfront Times.
