Participants can choose between the challenging half marathon, which kicks off at 9:00 AM (with an early start for those needing it at 8:00 AM), or the shorter, fun-filled 4-mile loop, also starting at 9:00 AM from the school. Runners will experience the breathtaking back roads of Colbert and Green Bluff, surrounded by stunning autumn landscapes. Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal and the option to order a stylish sweatshirt, celebrating their achievement. WELCOME TO BLOOMSDAY ROAD RUNNERS CLUB'S (BRRC) 49TH COLBERT AUTUMN CLASSIC HALF MARATHON AND 4RD ANNUAL 4-MILE LOOP. Come run when the weather is cooler and prepping you for your Fall Marathons. Now that you have had the summer to put in the miles and maybe participated in some runs, BRRC wants you to continue your activity into the fall to prepare you for your fall Marathon by participating in-person at a great Fall Classic Half Marathon. Run the back roads of Colbert and Green Bluff. You will not only enjoy the beautiful scenery, but will get a FINISHERS MEDAL and sweatshirt, if ordered, for your efforts in the Half Marathon, Early Start and the 4-Mile Loop. The Colbert Half Marathon will be on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH STARTING AT 9:00 A.M., WITH AN EARLY START AT 8:00 A.M. (HALF MARATHON ONLY) FOR THOSE WHO EXPECT TO FINISH IN OVER 2.5 HOURS. THE 4-MILE LOOP WILL START AT 9AM, the same time as the Half Marathon, BUT THE START IS AT THE SCHOOL.
