Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving Day with a fun-filled community event at the Cold Turkey 5K and Little Turkeys Fun! Run/Walk on November 28, 2024, in Franklin, Macon County, NC! This year marks the 11th anniversary of this beloved race, which promises to be an exciting fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Macon County. The event will take place at the Tassee Shelter, located at 877 Ulco Drive, and welcomes participants of all ages.
Join fellow runners and walkers for the Little Turkeys Fun! Run/Walk starting at 8:30 AM, followed by the Cold Turkey 5K at 9:00 AM. The first 200 pre-registered racers for the 5K and the first 20 Little Turkeys will receive exclusive event shirts, so be sure to sign up before the November 10 deadline! With awards for the top male and female finishers and age category winners in the 5K, as well as completion awards for all Little Turkeys, this event is sure to be a fantastic way to celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving while supporting a great cause.
