Join us for the Colonial School District Education Foundation 5K on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in beautiful Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery! This exciting event promises a fun-filled day as participants race through a scenic course that starts and finishes at the High School Stadium, winding through the high school campus and Victory Fields. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to the 5K experience, there’s something for everyone. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce group runs on March 8th and March 22nd, along with the chance to "Ask the Coach" for expert training tips from Shana Genkin, a dedicated teacher and running enthusiast.
With both a 5K race and a 1.5-mile walk, you can choose your preferred distance while supporting the Foundation’s mission to enrich educational programs in the Colonial School District. Participants who register by March 27, 2026, will receive a complimentary race t-shirt, and everyone can enjoy refreshments at the finish line. Plus, the race will be professionally timed, ensuring accurate results for all competitors. Don’t miss out on this fantastic community event that combines fitness, fun, and support for local education!

This 5K race will support the Colonial School District Education Foundation's mission to build community connections and generate resources for expanding and enriching programs that promote excellence in the Colonial School District.
NEW THIS YEAR: NEW TO RUNNING A 5K? WE WILL BE OFFERING 2 GROUP RUNS LEADING UP TO RACE DAY AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO "ASK THE COACH" FOR TRAINING TIPS FROM ONE OF OUR VERY OWN COLONIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHER AND RUNNING ENTHUSIAST, SHANA GENKIN!
GROUP RUNS WILL TAKE PLACE ON MARCH 8TH AND MARCH 22ND. ASK OUR COACH YOUR QUESTIONS SHANADUFF@AOL.COM
Race Details: Course (both 5K and 1.5 mille walk) will START AT THE HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM and travel through the high school campus, Victory Fields, and finish back at the stadium. The course will be on a mostly paved surface. Registration by 3/27/26 guarantees a race t-shirt. Complimentary refreshments will be provided at the end of the race. A water station, with water and BodyArmor, will be provided along the course.
Race Results: Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com
Race bibs and shirts will be available for pick up at sign in on race day, starting at 8am.
