Registration is just $25 per person and includes a custom 2027 T-shirt, an individual color packet, and all the color powder you can handle! For those who can't register in time, a standard T-shirt will be available for purchase on race day for $15. Best of all, the proceeds from this vibrant event will benefit the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, helping to bring hope to children battling cancer. Join us as we run for a day to give them hope for a lifetime!

Who's ready for the 9th annual LeClaire Color Blaze 5k?!
Join us August 7th 2027 at 8:00 a.m. on race day to experience the most colorful day of the year! This event is guaranteed to be filled with lots of color powder, laughter, and memories!
Registration is $25 per person!
We will be running Promos! Keep a lookout for those!!
Each person that registers will receive......
- A CUSTOM T-shirt for the year of 2027 (different from the normal T-shirts being sold)
- An individual color packet
- all the color powder your heart desires!
Please note - starting this year, we will have a normal T-shirt made for the people that don't register in time. They will be sold during race day for $15.00 each. ANYONE can purchase them.
All proceeds from the Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk will go the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. The money donated will help bring us closer to the end of childhood cancer.
We run for a day to get them hope for a lifetime!

OPENS 29 AUGRace prices beginning on August 29, 2026 will be $25 per person. Please note that children 5 and under do not need to register for the event in order to participate, however, if anyone 5 or under would like a t-shirt they will need to register for the event.
