Starting at 8:30 AM, the 5K race will kick off the day's festivities, followed closely by the 1-mile walk. Registration is just $25 until August 5, which includes a race packet featuring a T-shirt, music, refreshments, and access to a lively post-race party. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, awards for the top finishers, and plenty of fun—all while helping to raise funds for the wonderful programs supported by the Oconee Humane Society. BRING YOUR WHOLE FAMILY (WELL BEHAVED, LEASHED PUPS INCLUDED) TO ONE OF OCONEE'S MOST SCENIC PARKS AND ENJOY A 3.1 MILE RUN LAKESIDE WHILE SUPPORTING A GREAT CAUSE. PREFER A MORE LEISURELY WALK? SIGN UP FOR THE 1 MILE WALK AND JOIN THE FESTIVITIES!

* DATE: Saturday, September 26
* TIME: 8:30AM- 5k start /1 mile walk will start shortly after 5k
* COST: $25 (until Aug. 5)
* Includes a race packet with race T-shirt, music, refreshments and post race party all while supporting OHS)
* MUST REGISTER BY SEPT. 10TH TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT**
FAQS:
* Pets are welcome but must be on a short leash (_no retractable leashes please for safety_).
* Strollers and walkers are welcome, but we ask that they start at the back of the group for safety.
* Post race party will follow with awards, refreshments, and music to enjoy lakeside
* Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall male and 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall female for the 5k
* Packet Pick up will be Friday, September 25th at South Cove County Park from 3-6pm and Saturday, September 26th from 7-8am before the race
