Join us for the 7th Annual Colorado Run for the Fallen on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the picturesque Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area in El Paso. This heartfelt event is an up to 6-hour untimed run, walk, or ruck, dedicated to honoring over 450 Colorado military service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Global War on Terror. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to move at their own pace, whether that means completing just a mile or taking part for the full six hours.
Each mile of the course is a tribute, with the name, rank, and date of loss of a fallen hero read aloud, followed by a ceremonial salute. With no pressure, no timing chips, and no clocks, this event is all about remembrance and respect. All participants will receive an event t-shirt, and there will be an aid station providing water, electrolytes, and snacks. Gold Star families can register for free, and volunteers are encouraged to get involved. Together, letβs honor our heroes and ensure that no one is ever forgotten. This is not a racethere are no chips, no clocks, and no pressure. PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE FOR A SPECIFIC AMOUNT OF TIME. Whether you move 1 mile or all 6 hours, your presence honors a fallen hero. Each mile is dedicated to an individual service member, with their name, rank, and date of loss read aloud, followed by a ceremonial salute.

Proceeds support Honor and Remembers mission, including the presentation of personalized Honor and Remember Flags to Gold Star families in Colorado.
