With various age categories, the triathlon offers tailored race distances to ensure every child can participate: 7-8 year-olds will swim 50 yards, bike 2 miles, and run 0.5 miles; 9-10 year-olds will tackle a 100-yard swim, a 2-mile bike ride, and a 0.5-mile run; 11-12 year-olds will swim 100 yards, bike 4 miles, and run 1 mile; and 13-15 year-olds will challenge themselves with a 150-yard swim, a 6-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Each young athlete will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal, making this a memorable experience to cherish. Please note that registration for this event

The Columbia Association KIDS Triathlon is a race for all level athletes. Staged at Clemens Crossing Pool in Columbia, MD, participants will complete a pool swim, road bike and paved trail run. The bike course is moderate in elevation change and the run course is relatively flat. Registration includes t-shirt and finisher medal. This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
7-8 YRS OLD
