The day kicks off bright and early with check-in at 7:30 AM, followed by a pre-race stretch session at 8:30 AM and the National Anthem at 8:50 AM. The race starts at 9:00 AM, and participants can look forward to a non-timed walk for those who prefer a more leisurely pace. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome, making this a truly family-friendly event! After crossing the finish line, join in on post-race activities and enjoy the lively Community Day festivities from 11 AM to 2 PM. Remember, this event will take place rain or shine, so come prepared and ready

Join us for the inaugural Veterans Victory Run: Pocono 5K on Saturday, November 1, as part of Northampton Community Colleges Community Day at the Pocono Campus!
This meaningful 5K event is dedicated to honoring the courage and sacrifice of our nations veterans and active-duty service members. Whether you're running, walking, or rucking, participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. The race will wind through the scenic Pocono campus and surrounding areas, bringing our community together in a show of unity, gratitude, and support.
Proceeds from the race will benefit student veteran programming at NCC, including the Band of Brothers student organization. Veterans and military-affiliated participants are encouraged to wear their uniforms or bring meaningful items to share with the community during post-race engagement activities.
COURSE DETAILS:
The race kicks off and finishes at Northampton Community Colleges Pocono Campus, following a scenic, and fast point-to-point route through grass, side walks and on paved roads. Its perfect for both seasoned runners and casual participants! If you plan to Ruck, please provide your own 15 lb + ruck.
Strollers and leashed pets are welcome please start behind the runners.
Walkers are encouraged! This is a non-timed walk, starting after the runners.
