Organiser's Description
The Conservation Chase is a minimalistic running event designed to highlight the natural beauty of Lapham Peak State Park [https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/laphampeak] while supporting local conservation efforts. With 5K, 10K, and half marathon options, runners will experience quiet trails, rolling terrain, and preserved green space in one of southeastern Wisconsins most scenic parks.
This is a low-impact, no-frills race focused on simplicity, sustainability, and respect for the landfewer distractions, more connection to nature.
The event is professionally managed and timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC [https://runsignup.com/w/SilverCircleSportsEvents], ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-organized race experience while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the run and the environmentstopwatch.
Proceeds benefit Tall Pines Conservancy [https://tallpinesconservancy.org/#/], helping protect and maintain the natural areas and farmland that make the Mid-Kettle Moraine special.
