Organiser's Description
Building on the legacy of the Bear Trax & Brownie Shuffle, the Conservation Chase is a minimalistic running event designed to highlight the natural beauty of Lapham Peak State Park [https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/laphampeak] while supporting local conservation efforts.
This is a low-impact, no-frills race focused on simplicity, sustainability, and respect for the landfewer distractions, more connection to nature.
The event is professionally managed and timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC [https://runsignup.com/w/SilverCircleSportsEvents], ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-organized race experience while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the run and the environmentstopwatch.
Proceeds benefit Tall Pines Conservancy [https://tallpinesconservancy.org/#/], helping protect and maintain the natural areas and farmland that make the Mid-Kettle Moraine special.
