Join us for a fun, fast, and family-friendly 5k and 1 mile at the Cookie Run 5K! 100% of the proceeds support Lorain County Medical Scholarship Fund.
THIS RACE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE!

7:00am - Registration and Packet Pick up

The Cookie Run 5K is a fund-raising event held by the Lorain County Medical Society Scholarship Foundation (501C3). All proceeds go to the Lorain County Medical Society Scholarship Fund, which gets awarded to Lorain County residents who are pursuing education in pre-med, nursing, and other allied healthcare programs all across the state. Last year we awarded over $30,000!

Scholarship submissions for award year 2026 are open until midnight May 31, 2026. Students can apply HERE [https://www.lcmedicalsociety.com/scholarship]. Submissions received after this date will be eligible for the following year.
This is our FIFTH year hosting the 5K Cookie Run! This event is a timed 5K, a 1-mile fun-run/walk, and there will also be a free kids run before the main race starts. This park is also dog-friendly, so bring the entire family!
After the race, participants will receive a yummy cookie [donated by local baker Sugar Riot], and we will also provide post-race snacks and water, of course!
There will be awards for top male and female times - award TBD.
Participants can still sign up and register the morning of the event, but please note: Cookies and giveaway items will be provided to day-off registrants while supplies last.
