Join us for the 4th Annual Copperfield Caretaker 5k on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, in the picturesque neighborhood of Copperfield, Louisville, Jefferson! This uplifting event is dedicated to honoring the unsung heroes – the caretakers who provide unwavering support to their loved ones. As participants run or walk through the charming, hilly terrain, they'll not only enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere but also contribute to a meaningful cause. All donations will benefit KIPDA Aging and Disability, which plays a crucial role in providing meals and care for thousands of elderly individuals in need.
This year's event features a special "purple mile" to honor those affected by Alzheimer's and those in need of memory care. Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to participate, with awards for the top three male and female finishers. Participants will also receive a Dri-Fit shirt, a finisher's medal, and a delightful light breakfast provided by Wild Eggs. Don't miss the chance to celebrate and support your favorite caretaker while enjoying a fantastic day outdoors!

This is our 4th annual 5k for a cause, in the beautiful neighborhood of hilly Copperfield!
This year we are honoring the caretakers - we watch our friends and neighbors be the support system of their loved ones and we want to see and honor those behind the scenes. All donations will go to KIPDA aging and disability, that helps feed and support thousands of elderly friends receive meals and care. https://www.kipda.org/social-services/
