After a life-saving intestinal transplant in August 2025, Jackson's journey continues, and your participation will help him on the road to recovery.
By running in this family-friendly event, you’ll not only enjoy a fun-filled morning complete with an incredible DJ, face painting, and refreshments, but you'll also be making a real difference in Jackson's life. All proceeds will benefit the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), assisting with transplant-related expenses and ongoing resources for Jackson's healing. Packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM, and the festivities kick off at 7:30 AM. Together, let’s lace up our running shoes and make every step count for hope, strength, and miracles. Lace up for A Race for Jackson, a 5K (3.1 miles) on March 21st, 2026 at Lady Bird Johnson Park where every step brings Jackson closer to his miracle.
Jackson is an eleven-year-old boy who has faced major medical challenges since birth and spent years searching for a diagnosis. In 2023, doctors determined he needed a life-saving intestinal transplant. After multiple complications and life-support interventions, Jackson was officially listed for transplant and on August 18th 2025 received the transplant. Jackson still has a long road ahead.
By joining the race, youre not just running
