Get ready for a fun-filled day at the Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase 5K on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Crane, Stone! This exciting event features a 5K Trail Run and a 1 Mile Run/Walk, perfect for participants of all ages and skill levels. The 5K route will take you through the city's beautiful public trail system, primarily on smooth gravel, while the 1 Mile route is stroller-friendly on paved surfaces, with just a brief gravel section.
Kicking off at 7:30 AM on Main Street, Downtown Crane, this race is not only a great way to get active but also supports a good cause, with proceeds benefitting the Crane City Pool. Registration is just $25 for adults (including a t-shirt if registered by August 6) and $10 for kids aged 7 to 15 (without a t-shirt). Kids 6 and under can participate for free! Make sure to arrive early to pick up your race packet and t-shirt, and don’t miss the parade and festival activities starting at 10 AM. Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase 5K
5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk
NEED TO REGISTER BY AUGUST 6TH TO GUARANTEE A T-SHIRT.
The majority of the 5K route will be along the citys public trail system, which is smooth gravel. The 1 mile route will be on paved surfaces, with the exception of a very short gravel portion. The 1 mile route will be suitable for strollers.
Saturday August 22, 2026, race begins at 7:30 AM - Main Street, Downtown Crane. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
This race is hosted by Discover Crane, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the Crane community. This years proceeds will be donated to the Crane City Pool.
Cost per runner:
$25 - Adults (with t-shirt)
$10 - Kids (ages 7 to 15) (without a t-shirt)
$0 - Kids 6 and under
$15 - t-shirt ONLY
