Join us for the exciting Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk on Friday, June 6th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Grand Rapids, Kent! Kick off your morning at 7:30 AM with a refreshing 3.1-mile loop along the scenic river walk behind the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. This event is not just a run or walk; it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow credit union enthusiasts while supporting a great cause—the Children's Miracle Network!
Participants can choose their own distance and pace, whether it's 1 mile, 2 miles, or the full 3.1 miles, making it perfect for everyone, regardless of fitness level. Plus, if you can’t make it in person, you can still participate via our virtual option! Registration is just $40, and you’ll receive a commemorative shirt when you sign up by May 23rd. Additional donations are always welcome, so come out, enjoy the camaraderie, and help make a difference for children in need! Don’t miss out on this fun and meaningful event!

Question: What's better than getting together bright and early and going for a walk or a run? Answer: Walking or running with credit union peeps at the Michigan Credit Union League Annual Convention and Expo to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network!!!
The Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk for the Children's Miracle Network is powered by the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions on Friday, June 6th, at 7:30am!
The run/walk will take place on the river walk behind the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. Easy-peasy to find...look for the Grand Traverse Resort Pavilion Tent. The 3.1 mile course will make a loop around the river walk, with a portion of the race veering off the river walk. You are free to run or walk whatever distance and pace, 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles, we got you covered! ! Volunteers will be help you navigate the course!
So, 7:30am is a bit too early for you or you won't be able to join us in Grand Rapids this year? No worries! Join us in spirit via our "virtual option"!
By the way, this is NOT a timed event and you get to decide how far you want to go! So, no need to get goofy about your time, just a fun and healthy way to start the day off on the right...foot! But the MOST important thing is...this is just another way to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network!
To be guaranteed a shirt, you must register by Friday, May 23th. We do order extras, bit shirt size cannot be guaranteed.

Distance: However far you want to go! It is a 3.1 mile course; however, we will have miles marked at the 1, 2 and 3 Miles. Distance is up to you!
The Virtual Run/Walk": You get a shirt and bragging rights that you helped the Children's Miracle Network
Registration is $40
Additional Donations are enthusiastically accepted!
*The with shirt option is available ONLY until midnight, Sunday, May 25. We will have extra shirts the morning of; however, they will be given out on a first come basis.
