Join us for the Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk on Friday, June 6th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Grand Rapids, Kent! This exciting event kicks off at 7:30 AM and takes place along the scenic river walk behind the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. Lace up your running shoes or put on your walking gear for a fun-filled morning dedicated to raising money for the Children's Miracle Network.
Participants can choose their distance—whether you prefer to walk or run 1 mile, 2 miles, or the full 3.1 miles, the choice is yours! No pressure here, as this is a non-timed event designed for everyone to enjoy a healthy start to the day while contributing to a great cause. Volunteers will be on hand to guide you along the course. Can't make it to Grand Rapids? No problem! You can still take part through our virtual option. Register by May 23rd to guarantee your event shirt and join us in making a difference for children in need!

Question: What's better than getting together bright and early and going for a walk or a run? Answer: Walking or running with credit union peeps at the Michigan Credit Union League Annual Convention and Expo to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network!!!
The Credit Unions for Kids 5K Fun Run/Walk for the Children's Miracle Network is powered by the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions on Friday, June 6th, at 7:30am!
The run/walk will take place on the river walk behind the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place. Easy-peasy to find...look for the Grand Traverse Resort Pavilion Tent. The 3.1 mile course will make a loop around the river walk, with a portion of the race veering off the river walk. You are free to run or walk whatever distance and pace, 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles, we got you covered! ! Volunteers will be help you navigate the course!
So, 7:30am is a bit too early for you or you won't be able to join us in Grand Rapids this year? No worries! Join us in spirit via our "virtual option"!
By the way, this is NOT a timed event and you get to decide how far you want to go! So, no need to get goofy about your time, just a fun and healthy way to start the day off on the right...foot! But the MOST important thing is...this is just another way to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network!
To be guaranteed a shirt, you must register by Friday, May 23th. We do order extras, bit shirt size cannot be guaranteed.
