Join us for the exciting Cross Country Gallop on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at the picturesque Oak Hill Farm in Roanoke, Huntington! Choose from a 1-mile family walk/run/relay that keeps you within the scenic surroundings of the farm, or challenge yourself with our popular 5k course that winds through beautiful wooded scenery and back to the farm.
Registration opens on the day of the event from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM, with a mass start at 12:30 PM. The course remains open until 3:30 PM, allowing for late arrivals to enjoy the fun. Participants will be rewarded with a medal of accomplishment at the finish line, celebrating your achievement while supporting a wonderful cause. Proceeds from the Cross Country Gallop benefit Oak Hill Farm Equine Therapy for Children, providing essential resources for lessons and care of the horses. Cross Country Gallop offers unique options whether you perform as a runner, walker, or relay. Our event is a beautiful journey that transitions around Oak Hill Farm for a trail run adventure. The course is up and down our hills and through the pastures on the farm. Our 1-mile family walk/ run/ relay allows the whole family to patriciate while never leaving the Farm. BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND !! Our 5k will start on the Farm and travers down the road passing wooded scenery with our farm trail adventure as an out and back to Oak Hill Farm.

CLOSEDOur course is a scenic stroll around Oak Hill Farm, down our country road and back to the farm. Our after party - " Day at the Farm " is an Old Fashion Fall Festival event full of FUN!!! It will offer opportunities to further support the children that attend Oak Hill Farm. All participants bring your families and enjoy a country cookout, face painting, pumpkin painting, fall games, hayrides, music, raffle items sure to catch your eye and a horse show from our children at Oak Hill Farm. A WONDERFUL FALL FESTIVE EVENT!! -
