Event summary
Participants will race on the beautiful grounds of the complex, culminating their efforts on the school track with separate awards for boys and girls. Runners will compete in age-appropriate distances, including 1/3 mile for K-2, 2/3 mile for 3-4, 1 mile for 5-6, and 1.4 miles for 7-8. All finishers will receive a time, and the top five boys and girls in each division will earn awards, while every participant in the K-2 division will take home a ribbon. Organiser's Description
DISTANCES/AGE GROUPS: Runners will run the grounds of the Lancaster Catholic Athletic Complex and finish on the school track. There will be separate awards for boys and girls. All finishers will get a time. K-2 boys and girls run separately (depending on numbers). All other age groups run girls and boys together. Places are determined by gender finish (girls and boys are separate).
K-2: 1/3 mile 3-4: 2/3 mile 5-6: 1 mile 7-8: 1.4 miles
AWARDS: Awards to top 5 girls and boys in each division and ribbons to all girls and boys in K-2 division. Awards and ribbons will be given at the completion of each race.
