Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Third Annual Crusader XC Youth Invitational on Sunday, November 17, 2024, held at the picturesque Lancaster Catholic Athletic Complex in Lancaster! This vibrant event invites all students from K-8th grade who are part of a Lancaster Catholic Feeder School, Parish, or enrolled in a Parish CDC program to join in the festivities. It’s the perfect opportunity for your child to embrace an active lifestyle while enjoying the thrill of racing in a supportive environment.
Participants will compete in various age-appropriate distances, including 1/3 mile for K-2, 2/3 mile for grades 3-4, 1 mile for grades 5-6, and 1.4 miles for grades 7-8. Each race will conclude on the school track, adding to the excitement! Awards will be presented to the top five boys and girls in each division, with all K-2 participants receiving ribbons to celebrate their efforts. Be sure to register online by November 13, 2024, and help your child create lasting memories in this fantastic community event!

Organiser's Description
The Lancaster Catholic Cross Country team is excited to host the Third Annual Youth Crusader Cross Country Invitational. This FUN run/race is open to all students K-8th grade who go to a Lancaster Catholic Feeder School or Parish or who are enrolled in a Parish CDC program. It's a great way to have your child be active and introduce them to running in a fun and festive atmosphere. Online Registration ends November 13, 2024.
DISTANCES/AGE GROUPS: Runners will run the grounds of the Lancaster Catholic Athletic Complex and finish on the school track. There will be separate awards for boys and girls. All finishers will get a time. K-2 boys and girls run separately (depending on numbers). All other age groups run girls and boys together. Places are determined by gender finish (girls and boys are separate).
K-2: 1/3 mile 3-4: 2/3 mile 5-6: 1 mile 7-8: 1.4 miles
