Participants aged 13 and older can register for just $10, while CSDR staff, students, and volunteers can join for free. This year’s race aims to raise funds for essential physical education equipment, with 80% of proceeds directly supporting PE initiatives and 20% enhancing play equipment for elementary and middle school recess.
Join us for a morning filled with camaraderie and community spirit! Registration begins at 9:00 AM on race day, followed by the run/walk that encourages everyone to engage with their friends, family, and colleagues. After the race, participants can unwind and celebrate their achievements with post-race activities in the Cave Gym from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, complete with snacks and drinks. _SPRING BREAK IS AROUND THE CORNER! START OFF YOUR FUN BREAK BY CHALLENGING YOURSELF TO DO THE CUB 5K RUN/WALK! _
Community members, families, and non-CSDR students ages 13+ will register and pay the $10 race sign-up fee. CSDR staff, students, and volunteers are free and do NOT need to register. All are encouraged to donate to help support our PE Department. 80% of the proceeds will go towards the purchase of new PE equipment, and 20% of the proceeds will go toward play equipment for elementary and middle school school recess.
Here is how it works:
FOR NON-CSDR STAFF & STUDENTS;
1. REGISTER TO SECURE YOUR SPOT. CLICK ON THE SIGN UP BUTTON. FOR OTHERS (STAFF, FAMILIES, AND FRIENDS OF CSDR), YOU WILL PICK UP YOUR RACE BIB AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE AT 9:00 AM ON RACE DAY.
2. FEELING GENEROUS? MAKE A DONATION TO THE CSDR PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT. CLICK ON THE "DONATE" BUTTON AT TOP RIGHT OF THIS SCREEN.
3. RUN/WALK THE DISTANCE WITH YOUR FAMILY/CO-WORKERS/CLASSMATES ON CSDR CAMPUS.
4. THERE WILL BE POST-RACE ACTIVITIES IN THE CAVE GYM FOR THE FINISHERS FROM 11:00 AM TO 12:00 PM. SNACKS AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE POOL PAVILION DURING THE RUN/WALK EVENT.
5. IF YOU SEE A MEMBER OF THE MLK ASL STUDENTS OR CSDR PE STAFF, BE SURE TO THANK THEM FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE WITH THIS EVENT.

OPENS SOONFor the 3.1 mile run/walk, participants will run/walk on the marked route around the perimeter of the campus 2x. There will also be a 1-mile marked route specifically for the younger or those with mobility challenges.
