Join us for the exciting CTA Scholarship 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in beautiful Carmel, Putnam! This vibrant event kicks off with registration from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Paladin Center, followed by a thrilling 5K race starting at 10:00 AM. The course takes you along the scenic Putnam County Rail Trail, providing a perfect backdrop as you run towards Mahopac and back to the finish line at the Seminary Hill Tunnel.

Don’t miss out on the Free Kids 1/2-mile Run at 9:45 AM, where every young runner will receive a medal for their effort! After the race, join us at the Paladin Center at 11:30 AM for the post-race awards ceremony, celebrating the top overall male and female runners, as well as top finishers in various age groups. With T-shirts available for the first 300 registrants and opportunities for local vendors to showcase their businesses, this event promises fun for the whole family. Free Kids 1/2-mile Run - 9:45 AM - Medals for all finishers!

5K START: 10:00 AM Putnam County Rail Trial Seminary Hill Road

Start by the Tunnel on Seminary Hill and running towards Mahopac and back to the finish at the Seminary Hill Tunnel.

11:30 AM Post Race Awards at the Paladin Center

- Awards for Top Runner Overall Male and Female, Top Runner CTA Male and Female and age group award medals

- T-Shirts available for the first 300 runners to sign up

Business Sponsorship Signs Available as well as booths for local pop-up vendors in Paladin Center Field
