CYCLE THROUGH THE VINEYARDS 2025
The beautiful Temecula Wine Country welcomes spring in April! Once again, TEMECULA SUNRISE ROTARY (a 501c3 nonprofit) invites you to join us by registering for our annual _"CYCLE THROUGH THE VINEYARDS 2025"_ on Sunday, April 27th. _AKASH WINERY AND VINEYARDS _will be this year's host venue for the start/finish and post-ride celebration. AKASH Winery (a local family-owned winery) is located in gentle vine covered rolling hills in the heart of Temecula Wine Country. We are confident you will find that this is one of the most stunning vineyard settings in our wine country to commence and conclude this year's 18-mile scenic journey and a post-ride gathering. It is truly fortunate to have such a picturesque location for our Cycle Through the Vineyards this year.
THE RIDE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
_THIS IS NOT A RACE AND WILL NOT BE A TIMED EVENT!_ There will be two planned routes. An 18 mile route for well experienced e-bike riders and expert road and mountain bike riders. We will also offer a shorter 13 mile route with fewer hills for intermediate e-bikers. While we welcome all riders we caution those of you who may be new to e-bike touring as novices that there will be hills some may find challenging. These routes necessitate an understanding of the challenges associated with riding of diverse elevations. While the shorter route will eliminate some of the more challenging hills, there is no way to totally avoid some hills! The planned routes will both offer impressive views of our wine country and surrounding countryside. There will be photo stops during which there will be some shared interesting information along the route. Both routes will be mostly on lightly traveled paved roads, but there will be a short section of dirt road.
