Join us for the Dahlgren Trail's annual bike event - the Trailblazer! This friendly, community bike ride begins at the trailhead located at 10431 Bloomsbury Road. Google maps doesn't always show the correct location of the trailhead. 10431 Bloomsbury Road can be located using GPS coordinates: 38.26753N 77.29842W
The ride turns around 4 miles later at 9274 Comorn Road and returns to the starting area, for a total of 8 miles. Anyone not wishing to ride this distance can turn around and return to the starting area at any time.
To better serve our community's bike riders, the Friends of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is conducting this event as a fundraiser for the purchase and installation of public bike maintenance stands along the trail.
